Join fellow Thames Members on a weeks cruise starting from Gocek on the 7th June.

The rally will start from Gocek on the 7th and finish in Gocek on the 15th June 2009 ( It will be a Monday to Monday Charter)

The rally route is straightforward and undemanding, to allow participants time for free sailing in these most beautiful surroundings. From Gocek the route heads West to Ekincik and then back to Fethiye, a total distance of around a 100 miles.

There will be 3 arranged rally dinners during the cruising week

The welcoming dinner will take place on Sunday the 7th June in the evening at the Club Marina restaurant

Evening drinks will take place on board a specially arranged boat touring the bay at sundown arriving at the restaurant around 2000.

The mid rally dinner will be at 'My Marina' on the 10th, a very beautiful location close to the Dalaman river. Tours are available by boat up the Dalaman river to see the famous Tombs.

The final dinner will be on the 15th and it has been arranged at the International Hotel located in the Fethiye Ece Marin. We have been given the roof top balcony restaurant exclusively for our use. A ferry boat has been arranged to take all members from Gocek Town to Fethiye (a trip of about 45 minutes) with Sundown drinks served whilst crossing the Fethiye Bay giving us a splendid Sunset.
CHARTER
Typical charter yachts range from £1000 per week for an 11m yacht to about £2000 for a 14m yacht.
Providing we can get an early response from members who will be attending the rally and committing to booking then we should be able to negotiate a discount on prices.
In order to avoid Sunsail group charters etc which start on Saturdays we have planned our rally from Monday to Monday so early reservation is essential

Luxury Gulets are also availbale to charter from these companies. We are planning ot organise the charter of a 6 cabin, fully crewed luxury Gulet for members who want to experience this from of sailing. Costs per head will be in the range of £1000-£1500 per head per week plus F&B.

Dalaman is the nearest airport (25 mins from Gocek) offering a number of charter flights among which are

COST OF DINNERS
The cost per head for dinner will be between £25-£30 not including wine. Wine is depending on quality from £12 - £20 per bottle. There will be some extras but this should not exceed £15 per head.
HOTELS IN GOCEK
There are several medium size hotels in Gocek costing between £50-£80 for B&B.
